at St Leonard’s
Our Sunday services offer worship ranging from the traditional, reflective communion to our vibrant all age gathering, we try to make sure there is a space for everyone.
8:30am Holy Communion
Every Sunday. A simple, said service of Holy Communion that lasts for up to 40 minutes with appointed readings from the Lectionary and a sermon.
10am Sung Holy Communion
Every first, third, fourth and fifth Sunday. A service of Holy Communion, with hymns and sung responses that lasts for about 1 hour. Usually with appointed readings taken from the Lectionary and a sermon.
10am All Age Family Service
Every second Sunday. A less formal service for all ages, at which we often welcome newly baptised members of our church family.
Midweek
and Saturdays
Worship and prayer doesn’t just take place on a Sunday. St. Leonard’s is open during the week to help us to connect to Jesus.
Wednesday 10am Holy Communion
Every Wednesday. A simple, said service of Holy Communion that lasts for up to 40 minutes with appointed readings from the Lectionary and a sermon.
Friday 8am Morning Prayer for growth and renewal
Every Friday. You are most welcome to join Rev. Simon in church every Friday for morning prayer. The session lasts for about 15 minutes and is the perfect way to start your day.
Saturdays
Saturday 10am to 12 noon Messy Church
Quarterly. Fun for all the family at our regular Messy Church. Includes free crafts and refreshments as well a short presentation and talk. All ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Coming Soon
Sunday — 6pm Service
of Choral Evensong (October)
Monthly. A traditional service of Choral Evensong, with sung Canticles and Psalms, which will also include Choral Anthems and a sermon.
Sunday — 4pm Families at Four
(Launch to be confirmed)
Monthly. A fun service for all ages, in which we explore Gods Word together. Through songs, videos, stories and some crafts. Why not stay and join us for a simple meal after the service?
